Video Production for Sony Alpha India featuring Amar Ramesh

As the Production Assistant, I performed the end-to-end execution of this campaign video for Sony Alpha India. Collaborating with the rest of my Production team, I managed various aspects of project planning including location scouting, scheduling, etc. I also coordinated between various cast and crew members, and created a detailed production workflow.

I worked throughout the post-production process, including in the video editing process, ensuring that the final deliverable adhered to Sony's branding guidelines and their marketing objectives.

Video Editing & Color Grading

For these videos, I performed video editing and color grading ensuring that these visuals that aligned with Sony's branding guidelines. Having had to work under a tight deadline, I optimized the post-production workflow to deliver the final end-product quickly without lowering quality.

Additionally, I reconfigured and optimized the videos into vertical formats for Instagram and TikTok, to enhance the digital campaign's reach and engagement by leveraging these short form content platforms.

AIMA Global Investor Forum Video Production | End-to-End Execution

I planned, produced and delivered a polished end-product by being present throughout the entire production lifecycle for the AIMA Global Investor Forum's video.

Pre-Production: Conducted Concept development meetings, performed scripting, shot planning, location coordination, and timeline management tasks.
Production: Performed On-site videography including professional camera work, lighting setup, and clear audio capture.
Post-Production: Performed video editing and color grading of the video and integrated branding elements to deliver a digital first optimized video for multiple digital platforms.

Danforth Comedy Festival | Event Coverage

For the Danforth Comedy Festival, I provided comprehensive event coverage, ensuring the performances and audience interactions werre captured. This included:

Strategically utilizing a single camera setup to capture the stand-up acts on stage and their interactions with the audience.
Coordinating with the show organizers to perform live recording while maintaining the uninterrupted performances of the stand-up acts.
Delivered videos optimized for YouTube and other social media platforms.

Kanchipuram Silk Motifs | Documentary Production

I led the complete production planning and execution for this intricate 5-day documentary shoot, which required meticulous coordination and real-time problem-solving under a tight schedule.

Pre-Production: Developed a detailed production plan, including shot lists, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring each day’s coverage met the storytelling objectives. I managed location scouting and scheduling to accommodate dynamic shoot requirements.
Production: In addition to overseeing on-site logistics, I contributed to additional cinematography, focusing on capturing the artistry and craftsmanship of Kanchipuram silk motifs with precision.
Post-Production: Performed Digital Intermediate (DI) process, ensuring consistent color grading and visual enhancement to align with the film's aesthetic and cultural significance.

Swamimalai Bronze Idols | Documentary Editing

I handled the end-to-end editing of this documentary, transforming raw footage into a compelling narrative that explores the rich history and craftsmanship of Swamimalai bronze casting.

Structural Editing: Curating sequences to highlight the cultural and historical significance of Chola bronze idols.
Colour Grading: Enhancing visuals to reflect the authenticity and artistry of the bronze-making process.
Audio Design: Syncing sound elements and refining dialogue clarity for an immersive viewer experience.

Music Video Production

FEEL IT TOO

I contributed to the production coordination for 'Feel it Too,' an indie song by Thejas Mohan.

Pre-Production Support: Assisted in on-set logistics and shot breakdown to ensure unhindered work during the shoot.
On-Set Coordination: Collaborated and managed the shoot schedule, cast, and crew for smooth execution.

I performed the end-to-end production for the music video 'Maruganam'.

Production Planning: Prepared detailed production plan, including location scouting, shot breakdown, and coordinating production crew and cast members.
Cinematography: Shot dynamic scenes, to complement the song’s tone and dance choreography.
Post-Production: Edited and delivered a polished output that aligned with the song's narrative.

RISE OF MARGAZHI

I was responsible for the production of the Bharatanatyam dance segment in this video featuring Medha Hari for the video 'Rise of Margazhi Day 27.'

Camera Work: Captured Bharatanatyam dancer Medha Hari's dance movements.
Visual Composition: Ensured lighting, angles, and shot stability to correctly complement the performance and the dancer's artistry.

End-to-End Video Production

I played a pivotal role in the production of Evolve with Titans, an impactful YouTube interview series featuring inspirational individuals sharing their journeys and creative processes. From conceptualization to the final upload, I managed the entire production pipeline, including:

Curation & Pre-Production: Collaborated with the team to identify key speakers, outline interview themes, and structure the content flow. I developed the production plan, including shot lists, equipment preparation, and scheduling.
Cinematography: As the lead cinematographer, I ensured high-quality video capture, utilizing multi-camera setups, lighting design, and framing to enhance visual storytelling.
Post-Production: Took charge of video editing, incorporating seamless cuts, overlays, and motion graphics to maintain viewer engagement. I performed color grading and audio mastering to ensure a polished final output.
